Flower Power

This painting is inspired by the hippie movement in the 60’s and 70’s. I am a pacifist who truly believes that violence is never an answer and that we really need some Flower Power in our modern days! This painting represents a mix of vintage and modern where the ideas and the fashion of yesterday still makes sense today and its meaning grows even stronger. Her hairstyle is from the 70's but have never been more modern ... and we cannot continue to put daisy sunglasses on to hide from the atrocities that the war is still bringing to the world like if we still haven't learned from our past.
